Le Pouldu
Immortalized by the painters of the school of Pont-Aven, including the Maison-Musée which traces the passage of Gauguin. The Maison-Musée offers an immersion in the artistic and everyday atmosphere of the time, thanks to sound and staged creations. The Pouldu is undoubtedly the ideal place to enjoy the pleasures of the beach in Finistère. It is here that families and snowboarders meet on the arrival of the beautiful days to enjoy the 3 supervised beaches: Kérou, Bellangenêt and Grands Sables.
The beaches
Accessibles beaches for the family
Kérou, Bellangenêt and Grands Sables in Le Pouldu in Clohars-Carnoët and Trénez and Kerfany in Moëlan-sur-Mer are ideal! Those beaches are supervised and have been awarded the “Pavillon Bleu” label which guarantees the environmental quality of the beaches.
Over the summer lifeguards are on site and a variety of equipment is at your disposal to safely amuse the whole family !
Should you require a ramp to appreciate the joys of bathing and ocean sprays, opt for the beaches of Bellangenêt and Kerfany which are very well equipped and accessible to the people with reduced mobility.
Sporty beaches
Are you a fan of surfing or stand-up paddling? Fancy a beach where you can spend some quality time amongst friends? Then the ideal spot for you is the Kérou beach in Clohars-Carnoët where you can enjoy the new surfing pool to initiate yourself with this gliding sport rich in sensations.
Cosy beaches
Do you prefer creeks and more remote beaches? Then head towards Clohars-Carnoët and the beaches of Pouldu-Port, Porsac’h and La roche Percée or Riec-sur-Bélon at Questeland beach. But beware those beaches are unsupervised.
